So now that you've signed up at Yuwie, it is time to fill out your profile. Your profile allows people to find out more about you. The sections of your profile are:
Stuff (insert your member name here) likes:
- Interests
- Sports
- Music
- Movies
- TV
- Books
- Heroes/Idols
Bio:
- Race
- Height
- Body Type
- Marital Status
- Children
- Religion
- Smoker
- Drinker
- Education
- Occupation
Clubs:
- A list of the clubs you are a part of will be in that box.
Another important part of your profile is your location. When you signed up, you had to put in your country, state/province, and city. People can search by any of those terms. For instance, since I live in Virginia, I could do a search for everyone else that is from Virginia. Now your home town is a text box entry. This means you can type in anything you want there. Since I am from Orlando FL, that's what I put in for my home town..
Now it is important to fill out as much of your profile as you feel comfortable with. People get to know a little bit about you by what's in your profile. Also, anything in your profile is searchable. For instance, I am a fan of the late Robert Jordan's, "Wheel Of Time" book series. Because it is in my profile as an interest, other people who are into that series would find me when doing a search for any of those terms.
The part of your profile that we'll go into right now is the quote text box. The text box places a quote of your choice next to your profile picture. Make sure you don't put something inappropriate. Inappropriate material can get you expelled from Yuwie. The same is true about your profile picture. When you upload a picture from your computer to Yuwie, if it isn't appropriate, you could get banned from Yuwie. So now that you know how to build a profile, go build your Yuwie profile now
