Uploading Pictures To Your Yuwie Profile

 So you have made your Yuwie Profile, filled out all the juicy details, and now it's time to show everyone at Yuwie what you look like.So pick out a good picture on the computer and remember which folder you have it sitting in. The next thing you need to do is long onto Yuwie.Once logged in, click on the [Control Panel] link at the top of the page. On the left hand side of your control panel, clink on the [My Pictures] link. The next page that loads up is your Yuwie picture page.

Start by clicking on the [Create New Album] link in the middle of the page.When the next page loads up, type the name of the album into the top box. Start this picture album as Profile Pictures. The next box is a drop down menu. Since we are creating your public profile picture album, select the [Public] option. The next page that loads will say that you were successful in creating your public profile picture album. After about 15 seconds the page will redirect you to the Album List page.

Click on the [Upload] tab. The next tabbed page will default to the Java Upload page. If you have a current version of Java installed on your computer, you'll have the option of using the Java uploader. If you don't have a current version of Java installed, you'll receive a message that using the Java uploader won't work for you. The next step in adding your Yuwie Profile picture album is clicking on the [Add] button. This button has an open folder icon on it. Once you click on the [Add] button, a box will open that allows you to choose the path to the folder containing your new Yuwie Profile picture. Click on your new Yuwie Profile picture and click [OK]. Repeat this step until you have selected all the picutres that you want to load at this time. You then have to click [Upload] in the middle of the page.

You'll see a file upload progress box that tells you how fast you are uploading, how much you have finished, and about how much loner it might be to upload the picture. Once all of your new Yuwie Profile pictures have been uploaded, a Success page will load briefly. After about 15 seconds you'll be redirected to the Folder List page. Click on your newly created album. The next page will give you a tiled picture view of each picture you have uploaded. Click on the first picture. The next page contains information about your picture. Go ahead type in a description in the [Caption] box. If you wanted to change the album it is in, you would then select the the album name from the drop down box under the caption box. You'll want to do this for each picture.
